Doing our part for the society and lending a hand to the needy in our community have always been a main pillar in DTC World’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
In the current Covid-19 pandemic, DTC understands that many people are badly affected, and we would really like to extend a helping hand to send some relief to those who are facing an arduous task just to put food on their tables daily.
Malaysia was under enhanced movement control order (EMCO) for the past months, resulting in many people losing their source of income. The Malaysia White Flag Campaign is thus initiated, where food donations are given to those in need, in order to render some hope to Malaysians who are living in despair, and more importantly, to curb the suicide rates.
On 14 July 2021, DTC participated in a food donation drive organised by Uncle Kentang, a charity group that distributes food to those in need.

As it was still the period of EMCO, to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus of our DTC staff, only the General Manager went on to deliver the food items.
The foods donated were dry food such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, biscuits and other canned food items.
